1.A. Naive-(Adjective)- showing a lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment B. She was naive because she didn't know how to do the job. C. My mom was naive the first day of her new job because she didn't know how to do the job. 2.A. Niche-(Verb)- Place or position B. At Applebee's they gave the new worker the easiest niche to work at, but first they had to explain to them how it works. C. During the Presidential debate we are debating who should take niche of Barack Obama because we have to vote every 4 years. 3.A. Obliterate-(Verb)- Destroy utterly or wipe out B. During some of the wars we obliterated some countries, but we also got obliterated too. C. Down the road from my house they obliterated a house because it was old and falling apart. 4.A Gratify-(Verb)- Give someone pleasure or satisfaction B. My mom's boyfriend said that he wanted to clean the house, so that my mom was satisfied when she got home. C. On my brothers grade card he got satisfactory in art because he didn't finish his project. 5.A. Infinite-(Adjective)- Goes on forever B. The numbers in the number system are infinite because we never stop counting. C. Emma said that her life is going to be infinite, so she can see everything in the future. Embody-(Verb)- Be an expression of or give a tangible or visible form to an idea, quality, or feeling B. My mom was embody when she thought of how to rearrange the kitchen. C. It's not very easy to be embody when you can't choose which one to do because they are all so cool. 12.A. Exasperate-(Verb)-Irritate intensely; infuriate B. Since my brother exasperates a lot, he gets yelled at a lot by my mom. C. I made my mom mad because I was exasperating, so she yelled at me in front of my friends. 13.A. Fiasco-(Noun)-A thing that is a complete failure, especially in a ludicrous or humiliating way. B. I made a fiasco when I missed the layup that I had been practicing for days. C. My mom told my brother that if he didn't quit then she was going to make a fiasco because he wasn't listening. 14.A. Garnish- Decorate or embellish B. I garnished by room because it was looking plain so I had to add something. C. In the bedroom at my dads we have to garnish it, so that it looks nicer when we move. 15.A. Heritage-(Noun)-Property that is or may be inherited; an inheritance B. Mr. Oney said that he will inherit his dads farm land, then he's going to give it to his two daughters. C. My mom said that she will inherit the house that my grandma is living in when she passes away, then she will will give it to me, so that we can keep the house in the family. 16.A. Plate- Theory of global tectonics in which the lithosphere is divided into a number of crustal plates, each of which moves on the plastic as the lithosphere is more or less independently to collide with, slide under, or move past adjacent plates. B. Monday in Science we had to do a paper about plate tectonics, so that we understood them better wen we take our test. C. In Science we are getting ready to take a test over plate tectonics because we finished the chapter on Tuesday.
